Thanks for adding my clock part pendants to your favourites. :)
:iconambassadormann:
Your pendants are just something very special. I guess you know that there is ALOT of so-called "steampunk jewellery" on the net - same boring stuff, again and again. But I see your design as a true steampunk. Somehow, it seems to me, that hummered mild steel is way cooler than any stirling silver shiny thingies, and other stuff like that you can see on Etsy.
Way to go.
:iconastalo:
Very glad to hear it. I have one exhibion coming in next April and i try to make also some new different watch/spoon/coin part pendants for that show. ( I try for example to cut some 1940-1960's era Finnish and Soviet Union coins to pieces and mix the cut-out president heads with clock gears and make more funny retro cyborgs from them. )
It's really more like an huge painting exhibion for young Finnish surreal/scifi artists, but i try to smuggle also some of my steampunk stuff in there.. :XD:

Lol.. I have seen some nice looking steampunk themed jewelry pieces in Etsy and DeviantArt, but i really hate that so called "glued together" steampunk jewelry what most of the stuff is in nowadays. They look always just the same, because people use also very similar materials what they can order from internet. (Like some insects or wings pressed from thin brass sheets.)

Glue is good for making objects like gift cards, but real brass & copper rivets, soldering/welding methods or nuts & screws are always much better and usually the most suitable attaching method if someone want to make "authentic looking" steampunk objects from old clocks and other recycled metal scraps etc. (I don't think that they use a lot of superglue in Victorian time period..)

thank you for the :+fav:

Hello!

Just stopping by to say my goggles arrived today. (Exactly 21 days later from when I ordered; you predict the mail well!) Thank you so much, they are BEAUTIFUL and I will definitely be posting some pictures of my complete costume this weekend. :)
Best regards. :blowkiss:

Hi!

I'm really happy 'bout the arrival of the goggles, not to mention the fact of you liking them gives me a happy smile allover my face :)
How ether I'm not satisfied with the delivery time at all - lazy bastards at my central PO are really bugging me with their "prolonged custom procedures" - it's how they call a package delayed for no good reason...So, sorry for a long wait, really, and thanx for a nice respond :) Good luck!
:iconcaliypsoe:
Oh and not to worry, I'll be posting a review on Etsy later tonight as well. :)

I agree, the mail system is a bit weird. It was no bother though. :) I got them in time for Halloween and a convention this weekend so it all works out. ^_^

è il bacio della notte che ti strappa l'anima dolcemente
è il bacio della notte che ti uccide lentamente, passando cuore e anima a filo di spada...
su queste tue labbra dannate sta la mia maledizione,
vittima e carnefice stanno danzando insieme...
