Hi!

I don't use glass lenses, and exactly for the reason that I can't possibly get any shatterproof glass. Instead, I use perspex lenses. They provide UV protection and they are also rather durable (actually, 5 times stronger than float glass and it's impact modified grades many times better). I use them alot at airsof/strikeball games and at my workshop. Besides, if broken, these perspex lenses do not shatter, but rather crack, without releasing shards, unlike glass.
Basically, that's it. If you do decide to purchase a pair, I would recommend getting design with interchangable lenses - it is much more suitable for riding, since it's weights less and also overall more comfortable.

Well, I usually don't do this locally, but as far as I can tell, anybody who lives in Israel can buy my stuff via Etsy or Ebay, just like everybody else. I ship worldwide.
